Harry Reid International Airport is the main airport for Las Vegas and opened in 1942. It was known as McCarran International Airport until 2021. The airport is located just about 8 km south of the famous Las Vegas Strip and is one of the busiest airports in the USA, especially for domestic flights and tourists from all over the world. KLAS has two terminals and is known for its unusual details – for example, there are slot machines in the arrivals area. The airport also offers quick connections to the city's casino hotels and venues.
