We only store personal data to the extent and for as long as is necessary for the fulfilment of the purposes for which the personal data were collected, we have a legitimate overriding interest in storing it, or are legally obliged to do so.

Right to information

You have the right to request confirmation as to whether we are processing personal data concerning you. If this is the case, you have the right to information about the details named in 25 ff. GDPR, provided that the disclosure cannot be refused, restricted or postponed by the data controller (see Art. 26 f. GDPR). We are also happy to provide you with a copy of the data.

Right to correction

In accordance with Article 32(1) of the GDPR, you have the right to request that incorrectly stored personal data (such as address, name, etc.) be corrected, provided that no legal obligation prevents this claim. You can also request at any time that data stored by us be completed. A corresponding adjustment will be made without delay.

Right to erasure

You have the right to request the erasure of personal data we hold about you if

  • the data is no longer needed;
  • because your consent has been withdrawn, the legal basis for processing has ceased to apply without replacement;
  • no grounds for processing no longer exist;
  • your data is being processed unlawfully;
  • a legal obligation requires this.

The law does not exist when

  • the processing is necessary for the exercise of the right to freedom of expression and information;
  • your data has been collected on the basis of a legal obligation;
  • processing is required for reasons of public interest;
  • the data are necessary for the establishment, exercise or defence of legal claims.

Right of withdrawal

If you have given us your express consent to the processing of your personal data (Art. 6(1)(a) GDPR and Art. 31(1) Data Protection Act), you can withdraw this consent at any time. Please note that the lawfulness of the processing carried out based on the consent until the withdrawal shall not be affected by this. Data for which we are legally obliged to retain will be deleted upon expiry of the retention period.

Right to data portability

We provide you with the following data upon request:

  • Data collected on the basis of consent (Art. 31(1) GDPR);
  • Data that we have received from you within the scope of existing contracts (Art. 31 para. 2 lit. a GDPR);
  • Data that have been processed as part of an automated procedure.

We will transfer personal data directly to a controller of your choice where technically feasible. Please note that we may not be able to transfer, or may only be able to transfer in a limited way, data that infringes upon the predominant interests of third parties pursuant to Art. 26 para. 1 lit. b GDPR.

Communications to the FDP-ED and possibility of appeal

Affected persons may lodge a complaint with the supervisory authority pursuant to Art. 49 FADP if there are sufficient indications that data processing may violate data protection regulations. The supervisory authority for data protection in Switzerland is the Federal Data Protection and Information Commissioner (FDPIC).

If you suspect that your data is being processed unlawfully on our site, you can seek a judicial clarification of the issue in accordance with Art. 32 DPA. As a rule, this requires filing a lawsuit in accordance with Art. 28 et seq. CC. If you are affected by the processing of data by federal bodies, the procedure is governed by Art. 41 DPA.
